The head honcho of Europe, Middle East and Africa for the UFC has told talkSport that there will be a UFC event in Dublin on July 19 this year.
It has long been rumoured and now it has finally been confirmed. In an interview on talkSport in the UK today, Garry Cook, UFC’s Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa, has said that they will be hosting an event in Dublin on July 19 this year.
Cook also confirmed that the O2 will be the venue but details on tickets, the card and all that other good stuff remains unknown at this stage.

That said, with Conor McGregor working his way back to full fitness, we wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him on the card.
