Geech backs BOD, a scary Israel Folau video and how you can build your own Adam Jones

Probably the most respected Lions coach ever would have picked BOD, a compilation of Folau’s excellence and a cardboard Adam Jones.

Probably the most respected Lions coach ever would have picked BOD, a compilation of Folau’s excellence and a cardboard Adam Jones.

McGeechan says he’d have chosen O’Driscoll

A certifiable Lions legend, when Ian McGeechan speaks, you tend to listen. On Sky’s rather OTT coverage he is the only calm voice and his column today in the Telegraph makes for interesting reading.

The man who led the last successful Lions Tour in 1997 states: “I would have paired Brian O’Driscoll with Jamie Roberts for the third Test in Sydney. For me, they are the best centre partnership in world rugby.

“They showed that in the two Tests they played in South Africa four years ago, before both were injured,” he added.

Geech was careful not to put the boot in too hard on Gatland, saying: “That would have been my call against Australia [but] it has not been Warren Gatland’s.

“And I would not criticise it. Selection, particularly on a Lions tour, is a very personal thing…And Warren obviously feels this is the best way forward.”

Time will tell, time will tell.

Just in case you weren’t nervous enough already

As we saw in the first Test, Israel Folau is pretty handy. He might be a rookie of sorts to the sport but the boy is certainly special.

This tribute video has just appeared on YouTube of him in action and we strongly advise you only watch it if you are not already bricking it ahead of the decider in Sydney tomorrow.

Ever fancied owning your own Adam Jones? Now you can

Those lovely people at MSN decided, for some reason, that people might like to have a cut-out model of Wales and Lions prop Adam Jones. So they created a kit for it, which you can get here.

In the interests of journalistic investigation we simply had to have a bash ourselves and this is the final product, courtesy of the nimble fingers of our very own @MsKarenAherne.

Not bad, eh?
