It has been confirmed today that Germany will host Euro 2024. Germany and Turkey were the only two candidates to stage the tournament, and the UEFA committee opted to vote for the former World Cup champions ahead of Turkey, who have never hosted a major tournament. They will host the tournament four years after it is held all across Europe, with a number of games being played in Ireland.
