Some absolute winners here

Some absolute winners here.

Pre-season has begun for most football clubs around Europe and with that comes the inevitable boredom and frustration of the transfer rumour merry-go-round. The part we don’t like.

The summer also sees the release of new kits by clubs all over Europe. The part we do like.

For your pleasure, we’ve decided to take a look at some of the best new jerseys that continental Europe has to offer.

Juventus Home – adidas

juventus

There isn’t a whole lot you can do with the Juventus home jersey given that ‘The Old Lady’ will forever be wearing black and white stripes. However, their new kit suppliers Adidas have given the jersey a touch of class.

For added effect, we suggest that you grow your hair long and cultivate an excellent beard because Juve need someone to replace their departed hero, Andrea Pirlo.

Borussia Dortmund Home – Puma

We love this simple retro design from Puma for the new Dortmund home jersey.

Not too flashy, just simple and classy. For added effect, grow facial hair like a Musketeer and pretend that you’re Mats Hummels.

AS Roma Home – Nike

roma

It must be the colour or something, but we have never seen a bad home jersey from Roma. The burgundy elevates it above most other strips. You have to hand it to the Italians, they know fashion.

Couple this with the fact that you can get it without a sponsors logo and you’ve got yourself a cool, stylish looking football jersey. For added effect, take some selfies in it and pretend that you’re Francesco Totti.

Bayer Leverkusen Home – adidas

leverkusen

Leverkusen have done a Barca and have reverted to horizontal stripes this year as opposed to their traditional vertical stripes. It’s similar to the German away kit from the World Cup in Brazil. I’m sure Brazilian people will love to wear this one.

It’s a simple and stylish design from Adidas, we like how the horizontal stripes work with the red and black colours. For added effect, we recommend that you act all nonchalant and care-free, just like their former player Dimitar Berbatov.

Lazio Away – Macron

It’s the first away kit we’ve chosen, but we were won over by the design. It’s impossible not to like the faded blue on the shoulder blades of the strip and the navy trimming is the icing on the cake.

For added effect, fluff big chances and pretend that you’re Gonzalo Higuain.
