After 50 minutes, a Pumas break from their own 22 saw Rob Simmons clout centre felipe Contepomi with a very dangerous hit. No ball, no attempt to tackle and a bit high, Simmons could have seen red in our opinion.
Luckily, Contepomi, earning his 87
th and probably final cap for Argentina, was okay and played on, until he left the fray with 14 minutes remaining.
