And so it begins. Last saw NFL pre-season kick off with a barnstorming 41-39 win for the Kansas City Chiefs over the Cincinnati Bengals. Bengals back up QB Jason Campbell threw not one but two pick sixes but the highlight of the game came via a debutant, rookie running back De’Anthony Thomas.
The former University of Oregon player was picked by the Chiefs in the fourth round and he might prove to be a steal if this 80 yard run back for a TD off a punt is anything to go by.
That said, the Bengals defence here is poor to non-existent.
It is only four weeks until the real stuff kicks off. We can’t wait, and here are 30 reasons why for you to enjoy too.
