A little bit of humour was sprinkled into the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics last night.
The most famous part of the opening ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympics was the one thing that didn't go to plan. Five snowflakes were supposed to open up into the five Olympic rings but the fifth one failed to launch, a slightly embarrassing mistake that went viral around the world.
Last night's closing ceremony was error free and the Russian organisers even managed to fit in a reference to the opening ceremony error, making very clever use of their dancers at one point.
Well played Russia, well played.
Hat-tip SBNation for the GIF.
