We all remember this great Matt le Tissier goal, scored (gulp) 20 years ago against Newcastle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M--5rbdCBk Now, a youngster by the name of Jake Hesketh is playing for the Southampton Youth team and he scored a goal this week that is very similar to the great man's effort. Facing Portsmouth in the FA Youth Cup, Hesketh employs a Le Tissier flick to beat a defender before controlling and stroking the ball home.
Southampton went on to win the game 7-0, so it seems the club that nurtured the likes of Theo Walcott, Gareth Bale and Adam Lallana to name just three, is still producing gems.
