The Newcastle United winger confirmed the fantastic news on Twitter this evening.
Gutierrez revealed that he was battling with testicular cancer earlier this year but still managed to compete in the Buenos Aires marathon to raise funds for an Argentinean cancer charity a few weeks ago, only days after undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
The popular Argentine has received plenty of support from the football community ever since making his diagnosis public and it was great to learn this evening that he had been given the all-clear after Gutierrez himself revealed the news on Twitter.

It might be a little early to talk about a return to action just yet, but hopefully we’ll see Gutierrez back on the football pitch before long.
