There was a lot of joy throughout Ireland when Dublin City Council agreed to place a big screen in Smithfield for the Ireland v France game on Sunday afternoon. https://twitter.com/RebeccaMoy/status/745972196124786688 If you plan to head along for the 2pm kick-off, Dublin City Council have warned people that the fanzone will be a family friendly, strictly alcohol-free area. They have also advised fans to arrive early in order to get a good view, with admission to the Smithfield Plaza strictly availble through New Church Street (the Luas end of the Square). The Council have also urged people to avail of public transport, as no special parking arrangements have been made. For full information on the event, visit www.dublincity.ie.
