Here’s how to keep up with a jam-packed Sunday of sport

Sunday Sport

It’s set to be quite a day.

Clare and Galway will face off in a semi-final replay after their incredible advertisement for the game of hurling last weekend.

The curtain will finally come down on a summer of football as Chelsea take on Man City in this year’s Community Shield.

But most importantly, and we don’t say that lightly, Ireland take on the Netherlands in the Hockey World Cup final — the only World Cup final of any stripe that Ireland has ever qualified for. Ireland overcame Spain on penalties yesterday to secure at least a silver medal, and today is the moment of destiny for the Irish women.

But how to watch it all?

Your day will begin with Clare vs Galway, coverage of which will begin at 1pm on RTÉ. Or, if you fancy it, 1:30pm on Sky Sports Arena. Throw-in is scheduled for 2pm.

When it comes to the hockey, RTÉ will once again broadcast the event with the national broadcaster to televise the game in conjunction with their coverage of the European Championships from 4:05pm. BT Sport 3 will also be showing the game, and their coverage begins at 4pm.

As for the Community Shield, that kicks off at 3pm today and will be shown on BT Sport with coverage beginning at 2pm.

If you fancy it, TG4 will be broadcasting the All-Ireland U20FC final between Kildare and Mayo at Croke Park, with coverage beginning at 1.15pm.
