Iniesta himself is not dressed in blackface but a number of the people in the photo are.
Andres Iniesta is being heavily criticised for a photograph he has posted to his Twitter account, which shows him and his family and friends in his living room.
All of the people (except Iniesta) are dressed up in festive attire, with two of the men being dressed in blackface.

Iniesta, who currently plays for Japanese club Vissel Kobe, is yet to comment on the reaction to the image.
It isn’t the first time that a footballer has faced a controversy like this. Last year, World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann posted a picture of him dressed up as a Harlem Globetrotter, and he also had dressed in blackface.
