Perpignan will be without several key players ahead of their crucial double header with Munster in the Heineken Cup.

Prior to their 30 – 23 defeat at home to Clermont at the weekend they had six players on the treatment table with former Munster centre Lifeimi Mafi and Tonga prop Sona Taumalolo both suspended.

That defeat has only added to their woes with centre David Marty and English number eight Luke Narraway came off in the defeat, though should be available for the return leg the following week.

However South African wing Wandile Mjekevu (sprained ankle), French second-row Romain Taofifenua (twisted knee) and Georgia prop Giorgi Jgenti (fractured wrist) will miss both games against Rob Penney’s men.

All four teams in the Pool have won one and lost one from their opening two games, so the back-to-back fixtures will go a long way to deciding the outcome of the group.
