Injury blow as Sean O’Brien looks a doubt for the Six Nations

It wasn't a free flowing game in cold conditions at the RDS last night, but the worrying news about Sean O'Brien has grabbed the headlines
Sean O'Brien had to be helped off the field during last night's game with a shoulder injury, in which he put in another strong performance as usual. The Ireland international took a "significant bang", as coach Matt O'Connor described it in the press conference afterwards, and while he will still need to go for scans today, it seems that he's looking at a dislocated shoulder.
The game itself finished 19-6 in favour of the home side, and Leinster were able to get their first win in three, bringing a poor run of form to an end. However an under-strength Ulster were never really at the races, and with the Six Nations kicking off in February at the Aviva Stadium against Scotland, the big news is O'Brien's unjury.
The outlook is not optimistic, and if it is a dislocation, then O'Brien could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and it could be two to three months before he's back in training, meaning that taking any part in the Championship is well and truly out of the question.
