Nothing to worry about, it’s only the World Cup…
What’s the one thing you don’t want to do when representing your country on an international level in a sport you love in front of dozens of television cameras? Forget to let go of the ball.
Iran and Spain took to the Kazan Arena in Kazana on Wednesday night, which saw Iran chasing an equaliser for most of the second half following Diego Costa’s goal in the 54th minute.
Providing comic relief in tense circumstances was none other than Iran’s Milad Mohammadi, who gave the world a reason to cringe when, following a late throw-in, he kissed the ball before boldly performing a classic somersault throw-in technique – only to think twice at the last hurdle.
A moment of light entertainment at the end of the game as Milad Mohammadi thought twice about one of those sling-shot style throw-ins.

Best of worst moment of the 2018 World Cup thus far? You decide.
The 24-year-old full-back, who has been capped 20 times for his home country, ended up costing his team a valuable 30 seconds in the dying stages of the game, only for Spain to come back and claim the match with a final score of 1 – 0.
The defeat leaves Iran on three points, following their last-gasp win over Morocco. They must now go on to beat Portugal in their final game to be in with a chance of progressing from Group B.
Better luck next time.
