Ireland 43rd in latest FIFA rankings

The Republic of Ireland have gone up one place in the latest FIFA world rankings, while Brazil have leapfrogged Spain to take top spot.

Ireland will still be disappointed with 43^rd spot considering Traps army were on the brink of Word Cup Qualification only to be harshly stopped by France; and they remained undefeated in their qualifying group which featured Italy and Bulgaria.

Scotland meanwhile have dropped three places to 44^th behind Ireland, Northern Ireland are 57^th, Wales 75^th and England drop one place to 8^th.
