If anyone had any doubt about this for whatever reason, we now know for sure that Seamus Coleman is an absolute legend.

Do you remember the first time you watched your favourite team play?

Chances are you absolutely loved the experience. Win, lose or draw, you got to see something special, and something you’ll probably never forget.

But as much as you loved it, we imagine wasn’t as good as young Ruairc from Cork’s was.

Ruairc, who will turn 11 on Wednesday, broke into tears of joy as he was filmed by his parents opening a letter explaining he would be travelling from his home in Cork to attend the Toffees’ Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

And when he got there, he met the entire Everton team, each of whom signed a football he brought. He then received Seamus Coleman’s football boots, and met manager Marco Silva after the game.

And to make things even better, Everton won the game 2-0. Talk about a perfect birthday present.

Ruairc’s himself said that “Once in a lifetime you get this opportunity, and I don’t think I’ll get a present like this ever again.”

Class stuff altogether.
