I’ve written extensively about Barbaric Gentlemen before for JOE, or more specifically what the training and whatnot entailed, over the past six months or so. Tonight is as much a conclusion of the literal blood, sweat and tears as the actual fight was.
Barbaric Gentlemen premieres on Setanta Sports Ireland tonight at 10pm. There will be repeats of it throughout the month of December, so if you miss it tonight or forget to record it(shame on you by the way) then keep an eye out for a repeat viewing.
The doc features myself, but also the far more impressive likes of Owen Roddy, Cathal Pendred, Ais Daly, Jerry Flannery, Aidan Power, John Kavanagh, Conor McGregor and the man himself, Dana White.
Made with the folks at production company From Afar… it really was a labour of love. Even if it was almost inexplicably tough for all involved.
