If you’ve ever won a big bet, you’ll know exactly how this guy feels.
Today marked the start of the annual Cheltenham festival and while it can burn a pretty big hole in the pockets of many punters, there are others significantly better off after a successful flutter or two.
One of those is JOE reader Daithi Crowley from Dunmanway in West Cork, who watched Labaik triumph against the odds in the first race of the festival, the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle.
Daithi obviously had his homework done as he backed Labaik to win at 50/1 last month, double the odds the six-year old, trained by Gordon Elliott and rode by 17-year old Jack Kennedy, was available at today.
It’s no wonder Daithi got so excited while watching the race at home today, with his girlfriend Sarah on hand to capture the type of emotions that will ring a bell with anyone who has ever had the fortune to back a long-odds winner.

Daithi didn't reveal exactly how much he had bet on Labaik to do the business, but something tells us he's going to have a decent Paddy's weekend with the winnings.
Cheers to Daithi Crowley for sending this our way.If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to editorial@JOE.ie or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
