Absolutely no stopping him here.

Jordan Conroy stole the headlines during Ireland’s 24 – 14 Rugby Sevens win over Kenya on Saturday night with a hat-trick of tries, and he saved the best for last.

The 24-year-old turned in a star-making performance in San Francisco, clocking up a top speed of 36 kilometres per hour (22.1 mph) as Ireland turned on the style.

It only took seven minutes in total for the Tullamore man to register his hat-trick against the Kenyans, who made the last four of the Rugby World Cup in both 2009 and 2013.

Check out Conroy’s thrilling run below, and “remember the name” as one excited commentator said…

Even when not at full speed, or in motion, it still looks damn impressive:

Speaking afterwards, Conroy was in humble enough form, saying that the team were happy to put the recent result against South Africa in the rear view mirror, and noted that he was happy to “put a show on” for the travelling fans.

Ireland now take on Wales on Sunday evening just after 7.30pm Irish time in the Rugby Sevens Challenge Semi-Final.
