“You can stick your World Cup up your arse”

An absolutely incredible story has just broken out of the Ghana camp as their World Cup campaign is threatening to fall into disarray.

Yesterday, news broke from Brazil that Ghana had sent a plane with three million dollars in order to stave off a player revolt, but it seems that the Black Stars squad has been plummeted into crisis just hours before their crucial final match with Portugal.

According to reports from the journalist covering Ghana’s World Cup, star players Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari have been ordered to leave the the team hotel at 8am Brazil time.

Apparently the reason for the players’ exclusion comes from a fight between Muntari and Boateng two days ago, an argument which then spilled over and Boateng ended up insulting the coach when he was queried about it.

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has now apparently confirmed the sacking Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari from team camp.

It’s also being reported that Muntari assaulted a Ghanaian management committee member yesterday.

One of the things that we find strange here at JOE HQ is that Boateng and Muntari were actually team-mates at Portsmouth and AC Milan. Ghana fans, all of us Irish people know exactly what you are going through! It all sounds very familiar…
