ITV loses rights to show European football from next season

ITV have lost their rights to broadcast the FA Cup this season and will lose the Champions League and Europa League rights from next season. All you fans of Andy Townsend and his tactics truck will be pleased to know that he will continue working in the media with various different broadcasters and he may even make a return to ITV down the line The station are being tipped to challenge BBC for the new contract for Premier League highlights.
