JOE v Ladbrokes v the JOE readers in the Ladbrokes Treble challenge

It's that time of the week again where we got to war with one of our readers and Hayley O'Connor from Ladbrokes to decide who actually knows stuff about football.

It’s that time of the week again where we got to war with one of our readers and Hayley O’Connor from Ladbrokes to decide who actually knows stuff about football.

Okay, maybe it’s not war, but we cannot help being competitive. Every week, we’ll be putting a shout out on Twitter for JOE readers to send us in their Premier League treble selections via the #LadbrokesTreble hashtag and every week, one lucky winner will be able to put someone else’s money where their mouth is with a free Ladbrokes bet on their selection.

JOE’s Treble:

Burnley and West Ham to draw, 11/5

Burnley have drawn four matches this season and we reckon they will do so again this weekend when they take on a West Ham side who have enjoyed a very good opening to their season. Turf Moor has become a hard place to go and win and we just think this one has draw written all over it.

Newcastle and Leicester to draw, 12/5

Newcastle have had a wretched start to the season and Alan Pardew is under big pressure, but they should be strong enough to take a point from the Premier League new boys.

Chelsea to beat Crystal Palace, 2/5

Chelsea have been hugely impressive in the opening weeks of the season and stand five points clear at the top of the league. Palace have been decent, but Chelsea look too strong here and we expect them to romp home with the three points.

This little treble selection comes in at a very enticing 14/1 or so.

JOE Reader’s Treble:

The honour this week goes to Padraig Pendred who went fairly safe on this treble. He has predicted wins for Chelsea, Arsenal and Southampton with combined odds of just over 2/1 but with the Ladbrokes treble enhanced for this weekend, Padraig will have €250 riding on this, courtesy of Ladbrokes.

Hayley’s Treble:

As seems to be de rigueur with Hayley these days, she’s sent us in a video of her treble selection plus a fairly bizarre player plus actor doppelgänger revelation:

Hayley’s treble selection comes in at just over to 7/1.
