The JOE World Cup Minipod #20 featuring Keane’s happiness, same old England and why Harry Kane shouldn’t be in a team of the tournament

JOE

They’re coming home.

You could be harsh on England and say they went out of the World Cup to the first decent side they played…Croatia are in the World Cup final on Sunday after Gareth Southgate’s side failed to capitalise on their early lead and lost their heads.

But is the criticism severe? England have reconnected with their supporters and found a young team they can admire while reaching a World Cup semi-final. Surely that’s enough?

Roy Keane didn’t think so but was Ian Wright right to be celebrating or should supporters want more?

On the JOE World Cup Minipod special, Paddy McKenna and Dion Fanning are joined by Paul Howard to discuss England journey.

  • Should Harry Kane be in the team of the tournament?
  • Did England have a good World Cup?
  • Do Croatia have any chance against France?
