Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has heaped praise on to Katie Taylor ahead of her fight with Miriam Gutierrez this weekend.
Taylor will take on Gutierrez in Wembley, London this Saturday.
Speaking before the fight, Hearn could not praise Taylor enough, saying that he is delighted that his children have her as a role model.
“You need a role model, you need an ambassador, you need inspiration. When she fights, the venue is full up with women and young girls who look up to Katie Taylor.
“She is a role model, I have two daughters myself and they love Katie Taylor. I’m so happy that she is the role model.
“In a world full of TikTok and Instagram role models, isn’t it great to go back to basics and say here’s a sportswoman who could inspire the next generation?
“As a parent, I’m over the moon that that’s the kind of person that my kids look up to.”

The Katie Taylor fight will be shown live on Sky Sports Arena on Saturday night, with it due to begin at approximately 10.30pm.
