Such was Taylor's ferocity and speed, in the latter stages of the contest, a stoppage looked imminent but to Wahlstrom's credit, she withstood the pressure and saw it out to the judges' scorecards but the result was never in doubt.
After a commanding 2018, Taylor will now be eyeing contests with champions from higher weight divisions in 2019 as she looks for some unification contests.
