Paul O’Shea will definitely get some slagging for this one.
Kerry’s Minor stars were pushed to the very brink by Monaghan in the All-Ireland semi-final but two points in injury time gave them a 1-16 to 2-11 victory.
Dylan Geaney, David Mangan and O’Shea were all class for the Kingdom and it was the latter of the trio that was awarded TG4’s man-of-the-match award.
In his post-match interview, O’Shea had an unfortunate slip of the tongue that he took a few seconds to recover from. Still out of breath from the contest, he said:
“It’s brilliant. D’ya know, we knew Monaghan would be tough and we f***ing… eh….
“We fought… we fought.”
Asked if he wanted to take another go, he smiled and said:
“We knew Monaghan would be tough and we fought it out in the end.”

Kerry will play Galway in the All-Ireland final after they beat Meath in Saturday’s semi.
