How can you not love this man?

Kolo Touré has joked that Real Madrid will come calling for him after his man of the match performance against Stoke City for Liverpool on Tuesday night.

The veteran Ivorian is out of contract at Anfield at the end of the season but, at 34, he reckons he has plenty left to give on the pitch.

“If I can play like that then maybe I will go to Real Madrid,” Toure, currently the Reds’ only fit centre-half after injuries to Martin Skrtel, Mamadou Sakho and Dejan Lovren, said.

“I don’t know what I’ll do at the end of this season but I’d like to stay in the Premier League.

“My kids are here and it is difficult to move. I am loving every day but God knows where I will be in a year’s time.

“But I hope it’s playing football because I love it.”
