Liam Miller tribute match tickets support

All in aid of a very good cause.

The long-awaited Liam Miller charity match takes place this Tuesday 25 September at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Roy Keane and Martin O’Neill will take up opposite positions for one night only as they take charge of a Manchester United Legends and Celtic/Ireland Legends XI, respectively.

The game will be broadcast on Virgin Media Sport with proceeds, including all advertising and sponsorship revenues, going to the Liam Miller Fund, which will be used to help Liam’s wife Clare and their three children as well as Marymount Hospice and other charities.

45,000 people are expected to turn out to honour the late midfielder, who passed away in February at the age of 36 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

For anyone who missed out on a ticket to the sold-out event, you can get involved with an innovative alternative.

The team at Support Liam Miller have created non-attendance tickets for those who can’t make it along to Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Tuesday but still wish to make a gesture.

For €5 – plus €2 postage and packaging – you will receive a commemorative e-ticket, an official match day brochure and the chance to win a jersey signed by both teams on the day.

Those commemorative tickets are available directly from the Support Liam Miller website and all proceeds will go to the Liam Miller Fund.

If you’re planning on catching the match on TV, Virgin Media Sport will kick off their coverage at 2pm on the day before the live broadcast, with highlights shown later on Virgin Media One.
