Marvellous.
Lionel Messi is the closest thing to a superhero that we’ll ever see on the football pitch. Just like The Hulk, the Barcelona star can smash his way through any defence but the Argentinian also has moves that Doctor Strange would be proud of. After all, we know that Messi is capable of producing moments of absolute magic on the pitch.
All this without even mentioning the fact that his nickname, The Flea, boasts a remarkable similarity to Ant-Man or that he has more firepower in his boots than Iron Man.
You may be familiar with the work of the very talented Cork artist Will Sliney, he works for Marvel and helped to create this wonderful Seamus Coleman banner during Euro 2016.

Gary Shore is a director and a good friend of Will’s. Gary was recently filming an advert for HUAWEI with the Barcelona superstar and because he’s a good mate, he asked Will if he fancied drawing a piece for Messi while the two men were working together.
Being a huge football fan, Will was happy to oblige but under one condition.
Somebody should text Ronald Koeman immediately.
If Messi wants me to draw him another piece he will have to sign for @Everton pic.twitter.com/2Xk7TPeSHI
