It’s turning into a tricky summer for Brendan Rodgers.
Loic Remy’s move to Liverpool is off after he failed a medical with last year’s Premier League runners-up.
The 27-year-old, who spent last season with Newcastle, was thought to have sealed an £8.5m move to Anfield but that had now been dashed at the last minute.
Loic Remy’s move to Liverpool is off. It is understood the forward failed a medical. No comment from the club however.

Remy had been earmarked as the player to fill the void left by Luis Suarez, and it’s now back to the drawing board for Brendan Rodgers as he looks to replace last season’s top scorer.
Dissapointed for Remy and Lfc be difficult to get another striker of that quality for 8.5 million.
