Luis Suarez says he misses the atmosphere and the fans at Anfield, and says that Liverpool is the only Premier League side he would play for.
The Barcelona striker left Anfield in the summer of 2014 after three and a half glorious seasons in England.
Even though he is now part of, arguably, the greatest front three in the history of club football with Lionel Messi and Neymar, he has not ruled out a return to Merseyside at some point in the future.
“You never know what will happen in the future. If I was to return to England, it would be to play for Liverpool – not for any other team,” he told ESPN.
“I’ve missed the fans. The atmosphere is incredible, it’s incredible.
“Everyone who has played for Liverpool knows how important the fans are – they know they will always be in my heart.”
