Manchester City only need a point against West Ham to secure their second title in three seasons so we look at the betting market for this match.

This Premier League race is all but over or is it? With Manchester City only needing a draw at home to West Ham this Sunday to secure the title, we take a look at the odds of that happening and much more.

There is a strong feeling that City have done the hard work and the inevitable conclusion is that they will coast to victory against the Hammers which is reflected in their fairly unbackable odds of 1/7.

Even if you fancy them to scrape a draw, the odds are 7/1. If you’re a Liverpool fan and fancy West Ham to cause an upset, they are available at a huge 14/1.

Sunderland v West Ham United - Premier League

Liverpool fans will be pinning their hopes on former Liverpool players Stewart Downing and in particular, Andy Carroll (pic above) to cause an upset.

For Carroll to be first scorer, the odds are 14/1 with Downing at a massive 25/1. The market is dominated by City players naturally and if Aguero returns to the fold on Sunday he is at 9/4 followed closely by the in-form Dzeko (pic below) on 5/2. Yaya Toure is always worth a punt such is his goalscoring prowess and you can get him at 4/1. Mark Noble takes all the penalties for West Ham and looks tempting at 25/1.

Manchester City v Aston Villa - Premier League

The half-time, full-time prediction market is hugely popular too and if you fancy City to start and finish strong, the price for them to lead at both half and full-time, is 4/9.

For West Ham to do likewise, the price is 28/1. If it’s a cagey start like the game against Aston Villa and you fancy them to be level at half-time but with City to prevail at full-time, the price on offer is 10/3.

City have found their goal scoring ability at just the right time with seven goals in their last two games and for them to repeat the 4-0 win they had over Villa, the price there is 9/1. However, we feel that it will be a tense affair with City looking to just win the game so wouldn’t be surprised at a 1-0 win and you can get that result for the extremely enticing 10/1.

It’s all very exciting and Liverpool fans everywhere will be cheering on the blues of Everton, at least just for this match anyway.
