There’s another Khabib vs McGregor press conference on the way, and this time it’s open to the public

We go again.

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor had a press conference for the ages last week.

It had a bit of everything.

It had a Russian history lesson given by a man from Crumlin, terrorism allegations, complete composure from Nurmagomedov (for the most part), and the words “the smell of shite off your da” finally said on a global stage.

Yep, it had it all.

Except one thing.

Fans.

Conor himself went on a bit of rant about the lack of fans at the press conference, saying: “If I was an owner, and I was part of the promotion, I would have had our fucking fans in this arena. Where’s the fucking fans at? That’s who we fight for. That’s who pays the bills. That’s who deserves the show.”

Well luckily, it looks like there’s going to be another press conference next week, and this time it will be open to the public.

The press conference is set to take place next in Las Vegas next Thursday 4 October, just two days before the fight itself, according to UFC’s 229 schedule.

ESPN journalist Ariel Helwani reported the news on Twitter on Friday night.

McGregor didn’t suffer with the lack of fans at the first press conference, but their presence should add an extra edge to the whole situation.

Bring it on.
