Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls ESPN documentary

An epic undertaking for an epic sportsman.

Happy Christmas from ESPN, indeed.

We might not be getting this particular present until the year after next (wtf, ESPN?) but it looks absolutely brilliant so we’ll be patient until then.

Set to debut in 2020, The Last Dance is a 10-hour documentary series that goes extremely in-depth on Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, vintage 1990s edition.

Billed as a look at “one of the greatest icons and most successful dynasties in sports history”, The Last Dance boasts all-access footage and various talking heads including Jordan reflecting on their incredible run.

“Competition was an addiction”, it is noted at one dramatic-looking point in the new 60-second teaser, indicating that this won’t just be a look at the bright and happy side of dominance.

Netflix are involved in the production, so hopefully we get it all in one go when it arrives in 2020.

Yes, they’ve been teasing this thing since earlier this summer and now are closing off 2018 with a reminder that we’re still over a year out.

Still, determination and focus and all that.
