Michael, Michael, Michael... *please* tell us this was supposed to be a joke?

15 years to the day that he tore the German defence to shreds in Munich's Olympic stadium, Michael Owen yet again has people talking. The 36-year-old, who has been working as a pundit and co-commentator since calling time on his playing career three years ago, shared his thoughts on Jurgen Klopp's 'no messing' approach to getting rid of players he deems surplus to requirements. No problems with that comment - the Liverpool boss has either sold, released or loaned out a total of 22 players this summer. Ruthless. But having made his point, Owen used the very same tweet to add that there's 'nothing worse than having senior pros floating round not contributing'...
