Safe to say Munster fans will be ‘Racing’ to snap these up as soon as they can.

Ryanair has announced that, following huge demand, it has scheduled two extra flights ahead of Munster’s Champions Cup semi-final later this month.

Thanks in no small part to a sensational late try by Andrew Conway, Munster secured their place in the last four with a dramatic victory over Toulon in Thomond Park on Saturday, a victory which has Munster fans dreaming of a first appearance in a European decider since their last success in 2008.

Having been “inundated” with requests from Munster fans, Ryanair has announced an extra flight departing Cork on Friday, 20 April and an extra flight returning on Monday, 23 April from Bordeaux, where the semi-final encounter will take place.

Aer Lingus also announced at the weekend that they would be providing additional flights for Munster fans for the big game.

The extra Ryanair flight will depart Cork at 1.40pm on Friday, 20 April and return from Bordeaux on the following Monday, 23 April, at 10.05am.

Seats are limited and already selling fast, so Ryanair is advising Munster fans to log on to the Ryanair website to book the flights as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “Munster are back in the semi-final of Europe’s top rugby club competition, and now their fans can ‘stand up and fly’ to their last four clash with Racing 92 in Bordeaux.

“Due to strong demand from supporters, we’ve added 2 extra flights for the semi-final, which are on sale now and selling fast – only on Ryanair.com.”
