A number of National League GAA matches and a race meeting at Navan have been cancelled due to poor conditions.

Several National League fixtures in hurling and football have fallen foul of the weather conditions on Sunday morning and have been rescheduled for Monday afternoon.

Parts of the country were covered in snow overnight, with Met Éireann issuing a status orange snow-ice warning for seven counties in the east of the country and a status yellow snow-ice warning for the rest of Ireland in the early hours of Sunday morning.

As a result of the conditions, three of the Allianz Hurling League quarter-finals have been cancelled and rescheduled for Monday (see details below), while at the time of writing, the meeting of Clare and Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick is scheduled to go ahead at 4pm.

A number of games in divisions two, three and four of the National Football League have also been postponed due to the weather, all of which have been rescheduled for Monday afternoon; keep an eye on the GAA on Twitter for further updates throughout the morning.

The All-Ireland senior and intermediate camogie club finals, scheduled to take place in Croke Park, have also been cancelled.

A race meeting scheduled to take place in Navan, meanwhile, has also been cancelled as the track is unfit for racing due to a covering of snow.
