Kraft is charged with soliciting prostitution.

Shocking news emerged on Friday as it emerged that Bob Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, has been arrested as part of a major sting on prostitution and sex trafficking.

Kraft, who has been the owner of the Patriots for their six Superbowl wins in recent memory, including the 2019 Superbowl just weeks ago, is a well-known public figure in the US. He is also known to be a personal friend of President Donald Trump.

Kraft came to the attention of police as they investigated a trafficking ring operating at spas across Florida, which was illegally employing women brought in from China.

Police from Jupiter in the city of Miami, Florida, claim that they have video evidence of Kraft soliciting prostitution at a massage parlour in the state. He has been charged with two counts of soliciting sex from a prostitute, according to the New York Times.

Kraft was one of as many as 165 people named on a charge sheet published by the police.

Kraft is 77 years old.
