Taking Simon Zebo down by the neck was the final straw.
With the intensity of the Irish crowd growing and the home side pressing to find a way back into the game, New Zealand’s ‘win at any cost’ approach was not finding favour with the Ireland fans.
One tackle on Simon Zebo looked particularly dangerous, as his All Black opponent cynically took him down by the neck as he powered forward.

Hey World Rugby. It's a yellow card for offside (Aaron Smith) and a yellow card for a flying clothes line tackle? #IrlVNZ
