We cannot wait for the end of September at Gleneagles…
European Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley has confirmed that Padraig Harrington, Miguel Angel Jimenez and Jose Maria Olazabal will be his vice-captains for the competition at Gleneagles on September 26-28.
The trio bring a wealth of experience with Olazabal having guided to side to success two years ago while Harrington and Jiminez have made multiple appearances for the side. They join Des Smyth and Sam Torrance on the vice-captains line-up.
McGinley’s entire team is now in place after he confirmed Lee Westwood, Stephen Gallacher and Ian Poulter as his wildcards yesterday.
