Remember Masters Football? It's back under a new name.

Masters Football really was Saturday morning television at its very finest. It could only be found on Sky Sports Three at an unholy hour of the morning, but it was worth it to see some amazing footballers (who had let themselves go a little bit), showcase their skills. On Friday night, a rebranded form of Masters Football took place, and it looked like great craic altogether. Robert Pires scoring a delicious hat-trick was one of the highlights of the night, but we don't think any moment will be better than Phil Babb's hilarious own goal. The team of Republic of Ireland legends were drawing 2-2 with Wales at the time, when Babb played what looked like a perfectly good backpass to his goalkeeper. And we'll just let you watch what happened next... https://twitter.com/SoccerAM/status/1081536039485878272 The former Liverpool defender's pass was missed by goalkeeper Tim Dittmer, which put Wales 3-2 ahead. Nightmare. Ireland went on to win the game 4-3 though, so everything was okay in the end. Yet another interesting chapter in our footballing beef with Wales. We also lost to Scotland in a game that Stephen Hunt pick up a red card for a horrible tackle. https://twitter.com/SoccerAM/status/1081577768662560768 Great craic altogether. It's back on again on Saturday 5 January, on Sky Sports Football. Don't miss it!
