A fantastic story, brilliantly told.
Tipperary ended up on the losing side to Galway in an epic All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday, but it was still a huge day for Noel McGrath, who made his first appearance since being diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year.
McGrath managed to score a point that nearly won the game for the Premier County and
his warm exchange with Galway manager Anthony Cunningham afterwards was a snapshot of sport at its very best.
The folks at
Yellowbelly.ie, who produce sporting artwork, mostly GAA-related, have created a comic-book style account of McGrath’s return at the weekend and it really is a lovely piece of work.
