Pic: Arsenal fans held up this anti-Wenger banner after Arsenal’s win over West Brom today

Let’s hope, not for the first time his career, that Arsene didn’t see it.

Let’s hope, not for the first time his career, that Arsene didn’t see it.

Arsenal claimed a scrappy but still very much needed away victory over West Brom at the Hawthorns this afternoon, but it didn’t stop some of the travelling support from showing their feelings towards under-fire manager Arsene Wenger after the game.

In case you can’t read the banner below, it says, ‘Arsene, thanks for the memories but it’s time to say goodbye’.

Having brought it with them in the first place, it was obvious that they were going to display it at some stage, but the fact that they held it up after the game shows that Wenger has work to do to get a significant portion of the club’s support back on his side.

It probably wasn’t the best time to go unfurling it, but are they right?
