At least in the background of GAA celebrations in Ireland all you usually get is people waving while on the phone to their mother, or maybe the odd dog. In Australia, things go a lot further.
Over the weekend the South Sydney Rabbitohs, part owned by Russell Crowe, ended a 43-year quest for a title by beating the Bulldogs 30-6 in the NRL Grand Final.
That was, of course, a reason for massive celebrations in Sydney but when Channel 9 sent reporter Tom Steinfort to check out the festivities live on the 6pm news, viewers got a little more action than they expected.
