The Gypsies get innovative with their new posters.
The new season of the SSE Airtricity League kicked off last weekend and fans of the local game rejoiced.
One of the clubs, Bohemian Football Club have taken a novel approach to trying to get people through the turnstiles.
They have designed some eye-catching posters with a ‘Soviet’ theme to reflect their roots.
Commercial director, Daniel Lambert told us “We wanted to convey the uniqueness of Bohemian FC over the ever increasing corporate nature of football elsewhere – we are members owned, democratic, part of our community and accessible.”
He went on to say, “We are a club run by volunteers – our whole board of directors are there on a voluntary basis.”
“We are a true club of people for the people and are Dublin’s original football club. Get down to the historic Dalymount Park this season and show your kids that football isn’t a TV show.”
