PIC: Carl Frampton wants your advice for this accumulator bet, would you cash out?

Alan Loughnane

Would you risk it all?

Carl Frampton knows a thing or two about pressure.

The former two-weight world champion is one of the best boxers the island of Ireland has ever produced and has fought in some cauldrons, while under serious pressure.

But he showed recently during this outtake from the BBC documentary series Fight Game: The McGuigans, that even in an intense situation, he likes to have a bit of a laugh.

It’s the now the time of the year when people’s season long accumulators start to get a little bit interesting. The chances are for the majority of people, that you’re dead and gone months ago.

But some people choose astute bets and make it all the way to this point.

The bet below shows has backed Newcastle, Millwall and Portsmouth to be promoted from their various leagues. It also backed Hibernian to win the Scottish Championship outright and last but not least, it backed Leicester to finish in the bottom half of the table.

UPDATE: The bet actually belongs to a pal of Frampton’s, but we’re still interested to know what you’d do in this situation.

He placed £100 pound on this accumulator with the chance to £12,171 in return.

Now, with four of the results in the bag, he’s waiting on Leicester on their last game of the season to see will they bring his bet home.

The currently sit in 11th place on the table, one place and two points behind Bournemouth, who they play today.

He’s been offered a cash out of almost £6,000. What would you do?
