PIC: Check out a young Marco Reus wearing a Liverpool jersey

Definite proof that he’s joining (cough, cough)

Following on from the 1–1 draw in the Westfalenstadion, Marco Reus will get a taste of what playing at Anfield is like when Borussia Dortmund take on Liverpool next Thursday in the second-leg of their Europa League quarter-final.

While the German playmaker was fairly quiet in the most recent Kloppico, he’s no stranger to being around Liverpool players and fans alike. 15 years ago, a young Reus was a Liverpool mascot when the ‘Pool took on Alaves in a truly memorable UEFA Cup final that Liverpool won 5-4 in their treble winning season.

Fellow German international Kevin Großkreutz is on the left of the picture also.

Reus was born and raised in Dortmund and it seems that he was destined to grace the turf at the Westfalenstadion. Can Klopp tempt him away in the summer though? Call us cynical.
