We heartily approve of this.
There were any amount of stars in what was an amazing season for Connacht Rugby and their talismanic centre Bundee Aki was certainly one of them.
It wasn’t just his exploits on the field that led the Connacht supporters to take Aki into their hearts, but his personality as well.
That personality shone out like a beacon when he was front and centre of the celebrations after their victory over Leinster in the PRO12 final.
So big is the impact that Aki has had out west, in fact, that somebody has taken to his Wikipedia page to give him a brand new title, a title that Connacht fans and indeed the wider rugby community are likely to approve of wholeheartedly.
No doubt it won’t be long until Wikipedia have removed the new moniker, but even they might decide that if any man is worthy of ‘Lord’ status, then surely Bundee is.
