Conor McGregor has delivered a typically bullish response to his defeat to Nate Diaz in his first Instagram post since last night’s fight. McGregor promised to “take the defeat like a man” and also called out Brazilian duo Rafael dos Anjos and Jose Aldo, both of whom were quick to pour salt in his wounds after his loss at the MGM Grand. The Notorious thanked his fans and had a pop at his haters in a post that was very much true to form and illustrated that he’s already thinking of bouncing back from what was a pretty big setback.

I stormed in and put it all on the line. I took a shot and missed. I will never apologize for taking a shot. Shit happens. I'll take this loss like a man. I will not shy away from it. I will not change who I am. If another champion goes up 2 weights let me know. If your tired of me talking money, take a nap. I'll still be here when you wake up with the highest PPV and the gate.
